Found a “maintenance key” for our big fat coffeemaker (the one that makes you cocoa latte americano melanges or whatever instead of colouring water with black acid) with the inscription “Can be used by the technical staff only”.

Oh really? CAN be used? Every idiot can use that key.

What they probably meant to write on it was that it “should”, or “must” be used by technical personell, not that it “can”. Welcome to China, now also home of the computerized coffee makers.
